Our vision to empower leaders and impact kids has inspired us to create resources to better serve you.
We strive to provide the best care for your child in a safe and happy environment. All of our volunteers are required to go through a screening process that includes:
- Volunteer Application Form
- Personal Interview
- Criminal Background Check
- Training Period
First time guests:
As you enter the main doors your first stop will be to visit our Kids Check-in Station located on the right side of the foyer where a volunteer will check-in your child for the service you are attending. Our check-in station opens 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. We will ask for the following information: family address, children’s names including their birthdays, grades, phone numbers, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
Once your family is checked in, one of our children’s ministry volunteers will be happy to walk with you to the age appropriate room or worship service for your child.
After Check-In & Child Registration:
Upon registration, two labels will print for your child’s room. One label tag is placed on your child, and one label tag with your child’s security number is given to you. During checkout, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag to the children’s ministry volunteer in order for your child to be released back to you.
This label is required in order to pick up your child at the end of the worship experience.
Lost Claim Label:
If the claim label is lost, you will be required to show photo identification in order to pick up your child. Please notify a children’s ministry service leader as soon as you realize your claim label is missing
Class-to-Parent Contact During Service:
If your child or a children’s ministry leader needs you during the worship experience, your child’s number (located on your label) will be placed on the call board located on the front left-side wall of the sanctuary. Please respond promptly if your child’s number is put on the call board.
Classroom Health Standards for Children:
If your child is dealing with symptoms of illness, please contact one of your team members before leaving your child and explain what symptoms have been occuring. Depending on the symptoms, we may ask you to keep your child with you during the worship experience. We cannot administer medication to your child, including ointments. Please administer any medication before bringing your child to their room.
