Safety & Security
VOLUNTEER SCREENING:
We strive to provide the best care for your child in a safe and happy environment. All of our volunteers are required to go through a screening process that includes:
- Volunteer Application Form
- Personal Interview
- Protect My Ministries Background Check
- Orientation
- Training Period
LIFE KIDS SECURITY GUIDELINES:
CHILD CHECK-IN:
- As you arrive, your first stop will be to visit our Kid’s Check-In Station.
- Our check-in station and classrooms open 15 minutes prior to the start of each service.
- A volunteer will be waiting to assist you with check-in.
- First Time Guests: For check-in we will need the following information: Parent Name and phone number, Children’s Names including their birthdays, grades, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs), and any Authorized Caregiver Info.
- Once your family is checked in, one of our children’s ministry volunteers will be happy to walk with you to the age-appropriate room or worship service for your child.
Note: Self-check in will be available following your initial visit.
SECURITY TAG:
- Upon registration, two labels will print for your child.
- One label tag is placed on your child and one label tag with your child’s security number is given to you.
- You will need to show the security tag when you pick up your child.
LOST SECURITY TAG:
If the claim label is lost, you will be required to show photo identification in order to pick up your child. Please notify a check-in volunteer or security team member as soon as you realize your security tag is missing
CHILD PICK-UP:
- Parents must have the security tag to enter life Kids area & classrooms. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Pick up for all ages is at their classrooms.
CHILD-TO-PARENT CONTACT DURING SERVICE:
- If your child or a children’s ministry leader needs you during the worship experience, your child’s number (located on your security tag) will be placed on the center screen in the front of the sanctuary.
- Please respond promptly if your child’s number is put on the center screen. Be sure to see a check-in volunteer or security team member when you arrive.
CLASSROOM HEALTH STANDARDS FOR CHILDREN:
- If your child is dealing with symptoms of illness, please contact one of your team members before leaving your child and explain what symptoms have been occurring.
- Depending on the symptoms, we may ask you to keep your child with you during the worship experience.
- We cannot administer medication to your child, including ointments. Please administer any medication before bringing your child to their room.
